Battle of the Bands
Choose three kids off each team to come up onto the stage to participate.  Before service set up three instruments (ex. Drums, keyboard, guitar, harmonica ect.) for the kids to play (obviously they may not be able to really play but that doesn’t matter, they’ll have fun). 
Have the first band (team) come up and choose an instrument, when they are ready allow them to play for 30 seconds.  Then bring up the second band to play.  After both teams are done have them turn around and allow the audience to choose the winners by applause.  Place your hand over one of the teams and have the audience clap for their favorite. 

Fruit Toss
For this game you will need pairs of two, a thrower and a catcher.  Give each thrower a bowl of fruit, and have their partner, the catcher, stand on the opposite side of the stage across from the thrower.  The object of the game is to see which pair can catch the most fruit in 30 seconds.  (Grapes and chunk pineapples work great!)

Balloon Pop Relay
Blow up 20 balloons for each team (boys and girls) and put a slip of paper that has been preprinted with task in each (see list below).  The object is for each team to pop their balloons, using only their feet and then complete the task’s that are in each.  The team that pop’s their balloons and finishes their tasks first wins. (This is great for getting new comers to mix and meet others.)

Example Balloon Assignments: (give each team 5 of each assignment)

1. Find one person who you don’t know and introduce yourself.
2. Find one person who’s favorite food is the same as yours.
3. Find 2 people you don’t know and find out their names.
4. Find one person who’s birthday is in June and tell them Happy Birthday.
5. Find 2 people you don’t know and find out where they are from.
